To the editor:

Is nothing worth saving?

I’m still worried that we are going to lose Accomac School to the wrecking ball.

What’s going on behind those closed doors?

Now it’s the Beebe Ranch on Chincoteague Island.

I understand the family can no longer keep it. They have given many years.

But the vultures, known as developers, are circling.

We have to raise the money to save this piece of history — this place of many generations of childhood fantasies.

Please contribute what you can to the Museum of Chincoteague so they can purchase it and save it for our future’s children.
