Dear Editor:
I attended Accomac Elementary School in the 1950s. My mother graduated from Accomac High School in 1938 as valedictorian. Same building. One of the most well-constructed and beautiful buildings in Accomack County. Why would anyone want to replace it with a smaller metal building covered with a few bricks? Basically for the same price as a bit of renovation. Please, Accomack, preserve a bit of history and save this grand lady from destruction.
