Mrs. Norma Niblett Knight, 92, of Pocomoke City, passed away on Oct. 23, 2025, in Crisfield, Md.

She was born on April 7, 1933, in Pocomoke City, to the late Norman N. Niblett and Bessie Phillips Niblett. She was the youngest of four children.

Norma was preceded in death by her two brothers, Burley and Lynwood Niblett, and her sister, Mildred Nock.

Norma was a graduate of Pocomoke High School and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Pocomoke City. Norma began her banking career with the Bank of Hallwood in Virginia. After moving to Pocomoke, she was employed by Citizen’s National Bank. She retired from PNC. She also managed the Worcester County Federal Credit Union in Pocomoke for several years.

She was a great cook; no recipes or measurements were needed. Norma enjoyed playing Parcheesi with her niece, Shirley, and husband, Bennett. She was outgoing, friendly and had a big heart, always reaching out to help someone in need.

Norma is survived by her two sons, Dorsey F. “Bobby” Knight (Diana) and Norman J. Knight (Debbie). Her boys were her pride and joy. They were devoted to their mother and were attentive to her every need.

Norma is also survived by her grandson, Travis (Jenna); two great-grandchildren, Oaklee and Archie; and close friends, Pat Johnson, Gloria Pennewell, and Betty Tarr.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 2 p.m. from the First Baptist Cemetery in Pocomoke, with Pastor Donnie Bailey officiating.

Arrangements were by the Thornton Funeral Home in Parksley.
