Mrs. Gilberta H. “Bunny” Scott was called from labor to reward March 31, 2026.
She was born June 3, 1940, in Princeton, N.J., to Nancy and George M. Scott. She attended Princeton Public Schools and graduated from Princeton High School as well as Wilfred Academy for cosmetology.
She enjoyed music, dancing, and traveling. She lived in various places, including California, Chicago, Bimini in the Bahamas, and North Carolina, before falling in love with the Eastern Shore in Virginia.
Bunny married the love of her life, Ronald (Butch) Scott, Dec. 19, 2011, in Exmore.
She was a former member of the Cornerstone Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Exmore.
She was a breast cancer survivor as well as an advocate for Alzheimer’s disease, and she fundraised and walked to support research for both. Bunny was also well known for her zucchini bread!
She was loved by many and leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Ronald (Butch) Scott; her sister, Marsha Winston; her niece and nephew, Denise Albert and Dwight Bullock; her great-niece and great-nephews, Ayana Murray, Marshaun Walker, Christopher Jackson, and Chloe Rice; her cousins; and a host of friends and family.
