Mrs. Bonnie Sue Boothe, 81, of Chincoteague Island, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2024, at her residence.
She was born on Nov. 26, 1942, on Chincoteague Island, to the late Noah and Nelda (Daisey) Justice.
She was a member of Union Baptist Church. She worked at the Refuge Inn for many years.
Bonnie is survived by her son-in-law, Lawrence Ransley; granddaughter, Crystal Michelle (Clark) Kicko; two beautiful great-granddaughters, Ashley and Gracie; special cousin, Vicky Thornton; and several nieces and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William J. Boothe; daughter, Billie S. Ransley; sister, Sherry Faye Jester, and special cousin, Charlene Daisey.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, Aug. 12, at 11 a.m., at Daisey Cemetery, Ridge Road, Chincoteague Island, with the Rev. Kevin Eley officiating.
