Mr. Leo Branford Ayres Jr., “LB,” peacefully passed away on March 23, 2024, in Baltimore. He was born on Dec. 26, 1975, to the late Carolyn and Leo Ayres Sr., of Painter.
He was an Eastern Shore native and attended Accomack County Public Schools. He is survived by his children, Leo Branford Ayres III and Branford Leo Ayres; sister, Carletha Ayres-Rogers (David Rogers); brother, Keyon Kellam; nephews, Derrick and Dahleal Harmon; niece, Carolyn Ayres-Rogers; and special cousins, Nikola and Rashyn Custis.
There will be a public memorial service in LB’s honor held on April 28, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Sawmill Park’s pavilion in Accomac. The family thanks all who have shown LB compassion and understanding through the years.
