To the editor:

The call to action is “Save our school” in the town of Accomac.

What about “Save our school children?”

The Accomack County School Board has set aside $6 million to save the former Accomac Primary School — not for instruction but for a school board palace.

It’s a sad state of affairs when teachers must start an online fundraising page to get money for classroom supplies.

The members of the school board should be ashamed of themselves.

Where are their priorities?  Sounds to me like we have a group of people on the school board who have lost their way.

Instruction, not construction, is what educates our children.
