On Wednesday, May 10, Shore Christian Academy in Exmore hosted a Shore-wide Spelling Bee.
First place went to Taylor Frey of Shore Christian Academy.
Second place went to Charlotte Campbell of Cape Charles Christian School.
Third place went to Isabel Ramirez-Velasquez of Nandua Middle School.
Students from Nandua Middle School, Cape Charles Christian School, Kegotank Elementary School, and Shore Christian Academy participated.
Judges were Angie Crutchley, Julie Head, Erin Morgan, and Melissa Outten.
Outten and Stacey Carpenter planned and organized the event.
