Mrs. Keva T. Handy, 53, of New Church, departed this life on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at her residence.

Born in Salisbury, Md., Keva was the beloved daughter of Victoria Handy and Lee McLaughlin.  She was affectionately known as “Punch” by her family and friends.

Punch was educated in the Accomack County Public Schools. She obtained her high school diploma from Arcadia High School in 1990. Punch was a long-time employee of Perdue Farms in Accomac, where she was employed until her passing. She worshipped at Macedonia Baptist Church, where she was affiliated until her death.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Bloxom, with the Rev. Tamela Wise officiating.  Interment was in the church cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Kiarra Clark and Kemiya Fosque; grandsons who were her pride and joy, Kylin Townsend and Noah Clark; sister, Alisa Harmon; brother, Sherman Handy; nephew, Kirk Harmon, Jr.; grandmother, Oletha Bloxom; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

 Arrangements were by the Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac.
