Mr. Bruce Verdeen Try, 77, husband of Betty Bell Try and a resident of Exmore, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at his residence. A native of Pipersville, Pa., he was the son of the late Woodrow Try and the late Catherine Shive Try. He was a retired machinist for Wallops NASA, security guard for Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, attended Epworth United Methodist Church, and an active volunteer at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital and Riverside Shore Cancer Center for many years. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by four children, Nathan Try and his wife, Jennifer, of Hatfield, Pa., Aaron Try, of Richmond, Va., Mark Hill and his wife, Christine, of Belle Haven, Va., and Kenny Hill and his wife, Shelia, of Loudon, Tenn.; two sisters, Joy Daniel and her husband, Steve, of Doylestown, Pa., and Judy Chapman, of Telford, Pa.; and seven grandchildren, Hannah, Jacob, Patrick, Zackary, Darrel, Korah, and Kaitlyn.

A Celebration of Life service was conducted July 28, 2018, at Epworth United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mikang Kim officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverside Shore Hospice, P.O. Box 616, Onley, VA, or Riverside Shore Cancer Center, P.O. Box 430, Onancock, VA 23417.
