Willie Crockett – Tangier Island Renaissance Man
Science and Philosophy Seminar of the Eastern Shore of Virginia has scheduled its next
seminar, “Willie Crockett – Tangier Island Renaissance Man”. The free 90-minute
seminar will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, March 4 in Room 113 of the Academic
Building of the Eastern Shore Community College, 29300 Lankford Hwy, Melfa, VA
23410.
Brian Kaiser will describe his relationship with Willie and Willie’s art and stories.
Kaiser has worked in the Broadcast, Commercial, and Business television industries for
the past thirty-seven years. He and his family live on the Shore.
These Seminars are occasionally rescheduled or postponed on short notice. Prospective
attendees are urged to check the Seminar’s website (www.SciPhi.org) shortly before a
scheduled date.
We are an informally organized group that meets more or less regularly to explore and
discuss a wide array of topics, ranging from philosophical speculation to scientific
research. All Seminars are open to the public. Admission is free
