Science and Philosophy Seminar of the Eastern Shore of Virginia has scheduled its next seminar, “Overshoot in the Anthropocene: Part 2, The Future of Fossil Fuels.” The free 90-minute seminar will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, November 19 in the Room 113 of the Academic building of the Eastern Shore Community College, 29300 Lankford Hwy, Melfa, VA 23410.
John Durmick will present Part 2 of 3 scheduled presentations and will review the origins, sources, reserves, and emissions of these materials, and also review the COP26 Framework for Global Action on Climate just released by the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, Scotland.
Durmick is a Managing Partner in a software business and lives on Church Creek near Franktown, Va.
