Book Club

A great book club is open to the public.  Our meeting will be on 18 November at 1:00 at Naomi Makemie church in Onancock.  The topic will be A “winter festival”.  The meetings are at Naomi Makemie Presbyterian Church 89 Market St. Onancock Va. on the  3rd Thursday of each month at 1-2:30 PM (except in Dec we meet the 2nd Thurs).   Everyone is welcome and it is free. Come join us.
We are a very flexible book group. You are welcome to come and to bring friends. This book group has been meeting for about 20 years. Members come and go. Members range from 3 to 10 people at each meeting, depending on the year.
All the members do not read a single book. Instead each person can pick what interest them. You can research on the internet, read a poem, short story, book, etc. (whatever interest you).
We pick a topic for the month. November’s topic is winter festivals so each member will have something to say about winter festivals. It can be fiction or nonfiction.
