To the editor:
Kudos to Walmart. Since I’m old and lazy and still a bit COVID shy, I usually pick up groceries.
Food Lion puts them in paper bags but Walmart used plastic.
I wrote Walmart about it and just noticed they have an option when you order online to use your own recyclable bags.
It worked out very well with the associate separating items like frozen foods.
We have a long way to go to eliminate polluting plastic.
Sooner is a lot better than later given, for instance, the impact on our oceans and sea life.
