Joyce Webb

Oct 30, 2026 | Obituaries

Mrs. Joyce Webb, of Bloxom, passed away on Oct. 16, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Sarah and Lewis Bowden, of Chincoteague.

Joyce was retired and enjoyed the things that brought her happiness, especially her love for Ford Mustangs and fast cars. But more than anything, Joyce loved her family. Her heart was pure gold, and she had a special gift for caring for others.

Joyce always had a soft spot for anyone in need. Her home and her heart were always open to those who needed help, comfort, or a place to stay. Throughout her life, she took many people under her wing, never hesitating to lend a helping hand. Caring for others was more than something Joyce did — it was who she was. She gave so much of herself to make sure the people around her were taken care of and knew they were loved.

One of Joyce’s greatest joys was raising her two grandsons, whom she adored dearly. They held a special place in her heart, just as she will forever hold a special place in theirs. Her love, guidance, and the memories she created with her family will continue to live on for generations to come.

Joyce leaves behind her loving children, Fran Bowden and Roy, and Keith Davis and Sherry; and her beloved grandchildren, Shane Davis and Crystal and Harley Bowden. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and special friends who will forever cherish her memory.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Tyler Crockett.

Joyce will be remembered for her generous spirit, her loving heart, her willingness to help anyone in need, and the countless lives she touched along the way. Though she may no longer be here with us, the love she gave so freely will never be forgotten.

She spent her life taking care of others, and now she leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love, and compassion that will live on in everyone who knew her.

Rest peacefully, Joyce. You gave so much love to this world, and you will be deeply missed. Your memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved you.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Joyce’s memory to your local fire department.
