Mr. Donald R. Blair, 84, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Sept. 28, 2026.
Donald was the son of Alice Ferris Blair and Milton Edward Blair. He was a native of Norfolk and was retired from Ford Motor Company.
Donald served his country honorably as a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Donald was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Joan Blair; their son, Christen Ray Blair; and their daughter-in-law, Angie Blair.
Donald is survived by his son, Edward H. Blair; his daughter, Ginger Blair VanBuskirk and her husband, Stephen VanBuskirk; and two grandchildren, Elton VanBuskirk and Vanessa VanBuskirk.
A memorial service for Donald and his daughter-in-law, Angie Blair, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21, at Cape Charles Cemetery in Cape Charles. Pastor Paul Oh will be officiating the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore in Donald’s memory.
