A community vigil scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 4 in the wake of the shooting deaths of two Northampton County women will be held at 6:30 p.m., in a new location: the Eastern Shore Area Agency on Aging in Hare Valley.
Northampton Sheriff David Doughty said the event has been moved from the site of the former hospital in Nasswadox becuase of the chance of inclement weather.
The ESAAA building, formerly the Hare Valley School, is located at 5432 Bayside Road, near Exmore.
Trevor Claude Henriques, 45, of Nassawadox, has been arrested and charged with two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder, among other charges.
Slain were Katrina Henriques, 70, the suspect’s mother, and Rebecca Knox, 35, who Doughty said was thesuspect’s girlfriend. They each lived in Nassawadox.
