Mrs. Rachel Virginia Chandler Sprinkle passed away July 18, 2025, after lingering health issues.
She was known to her family to enjoy the simple things like country living, gardening, thrifting, hanging with friends and family, especially the grandchildren, and simple faith in Jesus Christ.
Virginia, by which many knew her, was born Dec. 2, 1944, in Delaware to Jesse L. Mariner and Mary E. (Morgan) Mariner. She was married to her husband, Paul Sprinkle, for 25 years.
The family impacted by her passing includes her daughter, Nina Chandler Littleton and her husband, John; her stepdaughter, Tammy Sprinkle; her daughter-in-law, Carol Chandler Smith; her grandsons, Jacob, Jarrett, and John Chandler, Kyle Littleton (with Shelby), Michael and Timothy Carroll (with Dionne), and Dakota Morsell; her granddaughters, Chandler Littleton Siers (with Rex) and Gabrielle Carroll; her great-grandchildren, Declyn, Harlow, and Hazel Carroll, Max, Weston, and Maddie Tucker, and Maddox Siers, and her brother, Robert (Bobby) Mariner.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Chandler, and her siblings, William (Billy), James, Aileen, Ginger, and JoAnn.
