Mr. Edward B. Hinman Sr., 74, of Parksley, husband of Marshelle Hinman, passed away on May 5, 2025, in Parksley.
Born on May 15, 1950, he was the son of the late Mitchell Irving Hinman and the late Marian Taylor Hinman. Edward worked for Tyson Foods Inc. for 42 years. He was a jokester who loved to laugh and make others laugh. He enjoyed softball, fishing, and golf.
Other than his beloved wife, Marshelle, Edward is survived by his children, Little Eddie Hinman Jr. (Patty), of Bloxom, Mark Hinman, of Bloxom, and Travis Hinman, of Portsmouth; his grandchildren, Chyna (Cody) DiMartino and Dillon Hinman; his siblings, Flossie M. Joseph, of Pocomoke City, Linda C. Taylor and Eddie Durham, of Bloxom, Barbara D. Ramey, of Hallwood, and Ricky S. Hinman and wife, Carla, of Bloxom; and his siblings-in-law, Edgar Allen, of Bloxom, Costella (Natasha) Davis, of Pocomoke City, Elroy (Gladys) Davis, of Exmore, Linda (Wallace) Knox, of Bloxom, and Alfonzo Allen, of Parksley.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Irving Hinman and Bobby Hinman.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17, at 4 p.m. from the Thornton Funeral Home in Parksley.
