New Ravenna, America’s premier designer and manufacturer of handcrafted mosaics, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jodie Sokel as its new chief executive officer, effective March 31, 2025.

Sokel, who has been an integral part of the Exmore-based company since its founding years, brings decades of experience and an unparalleled depth of knowledge to her new role.

Jodie Sokel’s journey with New Ravenna began in 1994 when she joined the company as one of its first employees, crafting mosaics by hand. Over the years, she has held numerous key positions, including general manager, director of sales, and director of procurement, among others.

Her extensive leadership experience and deep understanding of the company’s operations, artistry, and culture make her uniquely qualified to guide New Ravenna into its next chapter.

“Jodie’s appointment as CEO is not only well-deserved — it is a natural evolution of her leadership within New Ravenna,” said Reg Hargrove, managing partner of the Texas-based family office, Rocky Point Ventures. “Her dedication to our craft, our people, and our future is unmatched, and we are excited to see her lead with the same passion and expertise that have defined her career.”

Beyond her professional achievements, Sokel is deeply rooted in the Eastern Shore community. She is a devoted mother and enjoys spending time with her beloved grandsons. Passionate about animal welfare, she is dedicated to supporting, advocating for, and rehabilitating wildlife on the Eastern Shore.

New Ravenna, a portfolio company of Rocky Point Ventures, continues to set the standard for bespoke luxury mosaics, blending artistry and craftsmanship in every piece. Under Sokel’s leadership, the company looks forward to further innovation, growth, and commitment to excellence.
