Mrs. Elizabeth Walta Whitman, a resident of Exmore, passed away Friday, Feb. 28, 2025.
A native of Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Edward Frank Walta and the late Amelia Gaidowski Walta. She retired from Titmus Optical.
She was predeceased by her husband, Luther Irving Whitman. She is survived by several stepchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 9, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Mike Muender officiating. Interment will be at South Lawn Memorial Park, Petersburg, on Tuesday, March 11, at noon.
