Funeral services for Mr. James “Jake” Edward Sample, 79, of Onancock, will be held at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 9504 Occohannock Neck Road, Exmore, VA 23350, on Sunday, Jan. 26, at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. M. Palmer Bunting officiating.
Interment will be held in the church cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call or visit the John O. Morris Funeral Home on Saturday, Jan. 25, from 2 to 4 p.m.
