Mrs. Teresa Dee Sellers, 56, wife to Robert Sellers and resident of Captain Howe Lane, Cape Charles, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 17, 2024. Teresa was born on Aug. 24, 1968, in Nassawadox to Patrica Sue Rasmussen and the late Danny C. Rasmussen Sr.
Teresa attended Cape Charles High School and later got her GED. Teresa never knew a stranger. She was a member of the Cheriton Fire Department and loved playing bingo and poker. She was also an avid crafter and enjoyed making candles, jewelry, and crocheting.
She is survived by her husband, Robert, and her children, Johnathan, Benjamin, and Ivory; three stepchildren, Robert, Christopher, and Antonio; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; her mother, Patricia Sue Rasmussen; and two brothers, Elroy (Beth) Rasmussen and Danny (Jessica) Rasmussen, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 28 at the Cape Charles Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to Cheriton Fire Department or the American Legion Post 56 of Cheriton.
