Mrs. Pamela Thornton, 64, of Richmond, passed away on Oct. 11, 2024. She was born on Chincoteague Island on Sept. 26, 1960, to Paul “Dockman” Birch and Pauline Birch.
She was preceded in death by both parents; her siblings, Teresa Voss, Del Birch, and Buddy Birch; and her nephew, Paulrick Voss.
She is survived by her partner of more than 17 years, Larry Wagner; children, Bruce Birch (Jessica), Melissa Sharon (Leona), and Ricky Sharon; grandchildren, Courtlynne, Bruce Jr., Ricky, Jackie, Eden, and Heidi; and her beautiful new great-granddaughter, Evie.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, Nov. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Museum of Chincoteague Island Pavilion.
