Mr. Russell Lee Hines, of Chincoteague, a husband, father, grandfather, and brother, died Sept. 9, 2024. His sudden departure has left a profound emptiness in his family’s hearts and they will miss his fun-loving character, sense of humor, and love for his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, his two children, and his five grandchildren. Russell’s legacy will endure for generations.
A former Marine and career carpenter, Russell retired with his wife to find joy in the tranquil beauty of Chincoteague. He embraced the lifestyle that came with living by the sea. Though his family is deeply saddened by his sudden passing, they find solace in the memories they hold dear.
A graveside service will be held at the Graceham Moravian Church in Graceham, Md., for family only.
