Mr. Chuck Harris Jr., 65, passed away unexpectedly March 17, 2024, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock.
A native of Pennsylvania, he was the son of Charles Edward Harris Sr., of Goose Creek, S.C., and the late Dorothy Jeanette Apgar Harris. After moving to Virginia, he worked for Sentara Heart Hospital, the shipyard, Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, and more recently for Parks Electrical Service.
Chuck had a heart of gold. If you were his friend, you were a friend for life. He was a wealth of knowledge when it came to engines and how mechanical things worked.
In addition to his loving father, he is survived by two children, Adam Harris and Heather Harris; and his loving dog, Duke.
A celebration of life service is being planned for a later date.
