Mrs. Joan Alice Johnson, 59, of Parksley, wife of the late John “Jack” Johnson, passed away on Feb. 25, 2024, in Onancock.
Born on Sept. 18, 1964, in Jacksonville, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Charles Herbert Fuller and the late Joan Alice June Fuller. Joan was a dedicated homemaker and loved her family. She enjoyed drawing and painting and had a love for animals, especially her dogs. She would do anything for anyone and will be missed by her family.
Joan is survived by her sister and caregiver, Ina Fuller, of Parksley; sister, Kim Pilgrim, of Salisbury, Md.; sister, Sharon Fuller, of New Jersey; several nieces, nephews, and friends; and her dog, Marty.
Funeral services were held on Monday, March 4, at 1 p.m. from the Thornton Funeral Home in Parksley.
The family received friends one hour prior to the service.
Arrangements were by the Thornton Funeral Home in Parksley.
