Mrs. Ellen Oustinoff, 98, passed away at the Devonshire Senior Living in Hampton on Jan. 27, 2024. Her parents were the late Percy Smith Edwards and the late Sarah Doughty Edwards.
Mrs. Oustinoff was born in Willis Wharf and worked as a technical writer for the government until she retired. She traveled and lived around the world, and for much of her later life called Williamsburg and Newport News home.
She was predeceased by her cousin, Thomas Doughty and numerous special aunts and grandparents.
She is survived by her cousin, Gretchen Doughty and her cousins, Michael and Lillian Doughty and their children.
A graveside funeral will be held on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Richard A. Daily officiating at Franktown Cemetery in Franktown.
