Mr. George William Early III, 83, husband of the late Bertha Mae Wessells and the late Dorothy Ruth Early and a resident of Cape Charles, passed away Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023, at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News.
A native of Virginia, he was the son of the late George William Early II and the late Imogene Parks Bowden. He was a waterman.
He is survived by seven children, Brian Early, Linda Wessells, Angela Gamboa, Adolfo Gamboa, Randy Spady, Marty Spady, and Debbie Spady; a sister, Susie Early Duer; two grandchildren, Cindy and Amber; and three great-grandchildren, Persaphone, Athenia, and Crystal.
Funeral services are being planned by his family and will be announced at a later date.
