Mrs. Geraldine Elizabeth Milbourne, 79, the beloved eldest daughter of Donald Milbourne and the late Elsie Milbourne, was born on Feb. 8, 1944. Affectionately known by family and friends as “Clarcy,” she exchanged time for eternity on Sept. 29, 2023.

Geraldine received her education in the Worcester County Public School system. She was employed by Campbell Soup Company for more than 20 years and later became a certified geriatric nursing assistant. She worked for several nursing and rehabilitation homes and lovingly cared for her patients until retiring in 1997. After residing in Maryland and Virginia for most of her life, she moved to Palmetto, Ga. in 2021.

While residing in Georgia, she was a faithful member of the Palmetto Park Baptist Manor Chapel.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, from St. James U.M. Church, Pocomoke City, Md. with Gary Miller officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.

To cherish her memory, she leaves her father, Donald Milbourne; children, Gennine Hagar, Tammy Clark, Randall Poole Jr., and Rhonda Poole-Thornton; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sisters, Bessie Milbourne, Brenda Williams, and Sadie Fisher; sister-in-law, Shirley Milbourne; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and close friends.

Arrangements were by the Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac.
