Mrs. Jerleane Elizabeth Harmon Fisher, 73, beloved daughter of Carrie Bailey and the late Thomas Garder Harmon, was born on April 18, 1950, in Belle Haven. She departed this life on May 7, 2023, at her residence.
Jerleane attended the public schools of Accomack County. She was employed at Perdue Farms in Accomac until her retirement in 2015.
On April 21, 1968, she was joined in holy matrimony to Roland Lee Fisher Sr. This union was blessed with two children.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from the Chapel of Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac, with the Rev. Milton P. Bunting officiating. Interment was in the Burton’s Cemetery, Melfa.
Left to cherish her memories are her loving mother, Carrie Bailey; lifelong companion, Cecil Beckett; children, Marshall Fisher, Roland Lee Fisher Jr., Natasha Fisher, and Cecil Fisher; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six siblings, Juanita Downing, John Thomas Harmon, Virginia Carr, Roland Harmon, Audrey Bush, and Charles Harmon; aunt, Margaret Rogers; two brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Arrangements were by the Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac.
