Nandua’s Tyler Greene Competes Perfect Game Against Arcadia

The Arcadia Firebirds traveled to Nandua to compete against the Warriors on Thursday, May 12. Prior to the game Nandua honored its six seniors in their final home game of the regular season: Brandon Adamos, Chayce Wayman, Brandon Smith, Tyler Greene, Benjamin Stodghill, and Jacob Meilhammer. 

The Warriors were fired up on offense, putting up four runs in the first inning and continuing to score in the second and fourth inning. Nandua put up a total of ten runs in the game while holding Arcadia to zero hits and zero runs. Greene and Isaac Stodghill each had two hits on the day with one double. Benjamin Stodghill and Meilhammer each recorded one hit in the 10-0 victory. Isaac Stodghill led the Warriors on offense going 2-for-2 at the plate with three RBIs.

Greene took the win on the mound for the Warriors with a perfect game. Greene pitched five innings and recorded six strikeouts with no walks, no hits, and no runs allowed. 

The Warriors conclude district play with this victory, sending the team to the playoffs with an  undefeated record in district play.
