Warriors Soccer Team Clinches District Title

The Nandua Warriors varsity boys soccer team took on rival, Arcadia, in its final matchup of the regular season on Wednesday, May 11. The Warriors were able to pull off a big 1-0 victory to clinch the 2022 Eastern Shore District Title. 

Nandua’s Leo Bonilla scored the one goal of the game off an assist by Odin Bolster in the first half. The Warriors displayed lockdown defensive play by Carlos Rodriguez, Jerardy Velasquez, Noah Montalvo, and Oliver Alvarado. Nandua’s goalkeeper, Austin Shrieves, recorded a clean sheet for the game. The Warriors now hold a 4-0 district record and a 9-2 record overall for the season. The Warriors will compete again on Friday, May 13, at home against Middlesex.
