Mr. Mason Matthew Fisher was born Sept. 19, 2000, the only son of Bryan and Helen Fisher. Mason lived to be a little over 21. He was very proud of what he was doing in his life; he had moved off the Shore and was standing on his own. He was happy with his new life, new job and excited to see where his future would go. His parents couldn’t wait to see what he would accomplish. They were so proud of him.

Mason grew up on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. His love of fishing and hunting were in his blood. Each year it grew stronger. Mason was happiest when he was at one with nature. On a sunny day he could be found casting his fly rod off the dock for hours. Mason had an old soul from birth. He had a gentle heart and was a genuine person. He was easy to talk to and brought people together. His honesty was heartfelt. His smile was infectious and would brighten any day. Mason left a big mark on this world, in such a short lifetime. He will be forever loved and remembered. He was a blessing to all.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bruce and Judy Fisher; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Rebecca Brilz; and his uncle, Ray Brilz.

He is survived by his parents, Bryan and Helen Fisher; best dog, Loki; aunts, Katherine Brilz and Laura Brilz; uncles, Tony Brilz and “Uncle John Fisher”; and many cousins.
