Lady Vikings Get Huge Win Against Salisbury Christian

The Broadwater Vikings varsity softball team hosted Salisbury Christian School Tuesday, April 12. The Vikings took command of the game early on, scoring nine runs in the first inning, and never relinquished their lead. The final score was Vikings 12, Salisbury 0.

Kacey Ford pitched the entire game, allowing three hits and striking out 12 batters. Ramsey Revelle led the Vikings’ offense with two hits, one run, and one RBI. Taylor Leland had one hit, three runs, and one RBI. Chloe Hall earned one hit, two runs, and one RBI. Suzanna Long scored two runs. Molly Brown, Katie Henderson, Sophie Gallivan, and Harlin Johnson each scored one run. 

The Vikings held another home game Wednesday, April 13, against Norfolk Christian School and won 14-1. On Tuesday, April 19, the Vikings will travel to Chincoteague for a long-awaited rematch against the Ponies.
