Miss GeKeia A. White-Justis, 39, of Atlantic, gained her wings Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022, at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional, Salisbury, Md.
Born in Crisfield, Md., GeKeia was the beloved daughter of Carmel White and the late Glen Collins Sr. She was affectionately known as “Gi Gi” by her family and friends.
Gi Gi graduated in the top five of her class from Arcadia High School in 2000. She matriculated at the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore and was a magna cum laude honors graduate in 2004. She was employed by the Central Intelligence Agency for the last 16 years.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022, at the chapel of Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac, with the Rev. Gregory Duncan Sr. officiating. Interment was in the St. John’s U.M. Church Cemetery, Atlantic.
Gi Gi leaves to cherish her loving memories: her loving and devoted parents, Carmel and Alvin Justis; two sisters, Alyese Justis and Aneshia Manuel; four brothers, Anaias White, Allen Justis, Glen Collins Jr., and Brandon Collins; two grandfathers, Brantley Hinmon and James Wilson; godmother, Sandra Justice; special caregiver, Pamela McKyer; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
Arrangements were by the Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac.
