Two Teens Charged with Murder in Oct. 13 Shooting in Onancock

Two teenagers have been charged with murder in connection with a fatal shooting in Onancock in October.
According to Accomack County Sheriff Todd Wessells, a 15-year-old male and a 17-year-old male, both from Onancock, were each charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, robbery, and firearms charges in connection with the fatal shooting of Nicholas Kyle Joseph, 23, on Oct. 13.
The sheriff’s office at around 3:15 p.m. that day received a report of a vehicle crash on Johnson Street in Onancock and that gunshots had been fired in the vicinity of the vehicle.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they found Joseph suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead the next day.
The 17-year-old is being held at the Norfolk Juvenile Detention Center and the 15-year-old was arrested Nov. 30 in Washington, D.C. No other suspects are being sought at this time.
