Mr. Keenen S. Waters-Goodwine, of Hallwood, departed this life Friday, Oct. 29, 2021, at Bon Secour Memorial Hospital in Mechanicsville, Va.
Born in Nassawadox, Keenen was the son of Johnnie Waters and the late Melodie Goodwine. Keenen attended schools in the Accomack County Public School System, where he received his GED. His last employment was with Tyson Foods, until his health began to fail.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021, at the Chapel of Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac, with the Rev. Larry Custis officiating. Interment was in the St. John’s U.M.C. Cemetery, Atlantic.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his father and stepmother, Johnnie and Candice Waters; sister, Kristie Goodwine; brothers, Jeremiah and Jahir Waters; uncles, Riley Goodwine, Kevin Waters, Welton Waters Jr., Gregory Waters, and Walter Dickerson Jr.; aunts, Lydia Tunell, Karen Kees, Carolyn Waters, and Lorie Dickerson; special friend, Tyeasha Chandler; and many extended family and friends.
