Mrs. Cleo E. McIntosh, of Accomac, departed this life Monday, Oct. 11, 2021, at her residence.

Born in Wardtown, Cleo was the daughter of the late Alfred and Oakley Sample. She was affectionately known as “Fox” by her family and friends. She joined the workforce at an early age in the farming industry. In later years, Cleo began working at Onancock Head Start as a classroom assistant.

Private graveside services were held Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, at Foundation of Faith Center Cemetery, Belle Haven, with Bishop David Sabatino officiating.

Cleo leaves to cherish her loving memories: her children, Christopher McIntosh, Carolyn McIntosh, Paula McIntosh, and Natosha Finney; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Ellen A. Collins and Elsie Cannon; sister-in-law, Edna Sample; several special adopted daughters; special friend, Eugene Cephas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Arrangements are by the Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac.
