Mrs. Brenda Y. Harmon, 71, of Onancock, departed this life Friday, Aug. 6, 2021, at her residence.
Born in Newark, N.J., Brenda was the beloved daughter of Lonnie Queen and Mary E. Queen. She was employed as a dietician for Prudential Financial in New Jersey for many years. When Brenda moved to the Eastern Shore, she began working in the cafeteria at Perdue Farms. She dedicated 20 years of service before retirement.
Brenda was married to William T. Harmon (now deceased) and their union was blessed with two children.
Private funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 20, 2021, at Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac, with the Rev. Milton P. Bunting officiating. Interment was in the St. John’s U.M. Cemetery, Accomac.
Brenda leaves to cherish fond memories: her son, Tyrem Harmon; daughter, Pridgett Harmon; stepson, William Harmon Jr.; two grandchildren; sister, Sharon Paden; five sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; several special cousins; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Arrangements are by the Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac.
