Mr. Gilbert Francis Johnson Sr., 85, husband of the late June Ann Johnson and a resident of Harborton, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at his residence. A native of South Amboy, N.J., he was the son of the late Milford Langdon and the late Marie Johnson Langdon. He was a retired landscaper, an avid hunter, and a motorcycle enthusiast.
He is survived by five children, Cindy Weidenbush and her husband, Michael, of Toms River, N.J., Deborah Killeen and her husband, Dan, of Aberdeen, N.J., Gilbert Johnson Jr., of Toms River, Rose Bird and her husband, Jeff, of Cape Coral, Fla., and Shawn Johnson and his wife, Mara, of Keyport, N.J.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his first wife, Rose Panzera, and her husband, Joseph, of Cliffwood Beach, N.J.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Doughty Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Charles Peterson officiating. Family joined friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
