Press Release – Around 11:20 a.m. on June 7, a head-on collision involving three vehicles occurred in Chesapeake Tunnel on the CBBT. The vehicles involved include an SUV, a minivan and a sedan.
Travelers should expect delays of up to 1 hour as we will clear the scene and existing traffic from the facility prior to re-opening at the toll plazas.
Two victims have been transported by Virginia Beach Fire & Rescue to hospitals in Virginia Beach. Other minor injuries were treated at the scene.
