Mr. Adair E. Harmon, 68, of New Church, departed this life on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock.
Born in Temperanceville, Adair was the eldest son of the late Adair “Boss Hogg” and Vivian D. Harmon. He was affectionately known as “Eddie” by his family and friends. Eddie worked as a CDL driver for over 30 years for various companies including Perdue Farms, Waste Management (EFI), and Harmon Transfer Corporation. He was a jack of many trades, lending his talents as a DJ, race car driver, and mechanic.
Graveside services were held Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020, at St. John’s U.M. Cemetery in Atlantic, with the Rev. Gary Miller and Pastor Eddie Johnson officiating.
Eddie leaves to cherish his memories: his children, Tasha Bryant, Patrick O. Thomas, and Eddie Johnson; five grandsons; three great-grandsons; siblings, Nathaniel, Kenneth, Dwight, John Sr., and Arlene; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
