Mr. Coley Robert Beasley III, 54, of Sanford, passed away Oct. 15, 2020, at Norfolk General Sentara Heart in Norfolk.
He was born May 25, 1966, in Nassawadox, to Coley and Peggy (Ward) Beasley.
He was a member of Saxis Volunteer Fire Company where he was past chief. He was past member of Parksley Volunteer Fire Company. He worked as a fire medic for Wallops Fire Department, Chincoteague Fire Volunteer Fire Company, and Accomack County Department of Public Safety.
Coley is survived by his loving spouse of 19 years, Tonya Lewis Beasley, of Sanford; two sons, Kyle Beasley, of Tennessee, and Chris Beasley, of Sanford; two daughters, Cayce Beasley, of Belle Haven, and Ashley Beasley, of Sanford; grandson, Christopher Beasley, of Tennessee; mother, Peggy Beasley, of Hallwood; sister, Dawn Killmon, of Melfa; father- and mother-in-law, Jerry and Dawn Lewis, of New Church; sister-in-law, Angie Taylor, of Cashville; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Coley Robert Beasley Jr.
Visitation will be held Monday, Oct. 19, 2020, 7 to 9 p.m. at Salyer Funeral Home Inc., Chincoteague Island.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020, 2 p.m. at the Union Baptist Church, Chincoteague Island, with the Rev. Kevin Eley, officiating.
Burial will take place at the John W. Taylor Memorial Cemetery in Temperanceville with fireman honors.
