Two Charged in Bakery Break-In

The Corner Bakery in Onancock was closed last Saturday after the owners discovered the business had been broken into.
Charges of breaking and entering and petty larceny were filed against two juveniles, who were released to their parents, according to Accomack County Sheriff Todd Wessells.
The Accomack County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a breaking and entering at the bakery at around 6:04 a.m. July 25, according to Wessells.
When deputies arrived at the scene, it was determined that money had been taken from a cash register.
Investigation led to charges being filed against the two minors.
The Accomack County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Onancock Police Department and the Virginia State Police.
