Dear Editor:
The 46th annual Fish Fry at Edwards Seafood was a huge success! What a tremendous turnout we had, on August 10, 2019! The Onancock Rotary served over 600 meals! The Arc is so grateful to the Onancock Rotary for cooking and serving and we send out a big “Thank you!” to our many local sponsors who generously contributed financially! Its success wouldn’t have been possible without the gracious support of our community! We extend a special thank you to Edwards Seafood and their generosity of space, labor, and cooking duties; to Onancock Business & Civic Association for the ice cream; to our many cake bakers; to the Broadwater Academy students, Eastern Shore Community Services Board staff, and the many volunteers who participated and tirelessly worked to help make our annual fundraiser such a success! We are so very grateful for our faithful attendees who purchased dinner tickets and our supporters who offered additional donations. What a blessing this community is to The Arc!

The money raised will help The Arc to continue to be a voice, resource, and friend to the intellectually and developmentally disabled here on the Shore; to provide ongoing support for present and future programs and services for “A Life Like Yours.”
