Mr. Vincent Kent Bradshaw, 64, husband of Mary Briggs Bradshaw and a resident of Harborton, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at his residence. A native of Tangier, he was the son of the late Carroll Bradshaw and the late Ella Marshall Bradshaw. He was a U.S. Marine veteran, retired tugboat captain, and member of Exmore Moose Lodge #683.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by two children, Rebecca Pruitt, of Melfa, and Michael Bradshaw and his wife, Angela, of Morehead City, N.C.; two sisters, Jenny Hattorf, of Mechanicsville, Va., and Frances Bryant and her husband, Bill, of Heathsville, Va.; three grandchildren, Carter Pruitt, of Melfa, and Reagan Bradshaw and Lana Bradshaw, both of Morehead City; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Justin Carter Bradshaw, and a brother, Eugene Bradshaw.
A graveside service was conducted Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at Belle Haven Cemetery with the Rev. Rob Kelly officiating. Memorials may be made to Exmore Moose Lodge #683, P.O. Box 1227, Exmore, VA 23350.
