Jawaun Bell put up 32 points for the Yellow Jackets, and Vonte Coston netted 16. Corey Smith led the rebound count, grabbing 9; Bell also led in assists and steals, posting four each.

Broadwater’s boys team made a trip to Williamsburg Christian last Thursday to face the Eagles, falling 80-59 to their opponents.

The Lady Vikings had a home contest against the Atlantic Shores Seahawks Feb. 12, and fell to their visitors, 75-28.
Suzanna Long netted 11 points for the Vikings, and Hannah Davis posted 8. Virginia Ross grabbed the team high in rebounds with 6. Carly Wardius and Greta Bunce assisted 2 apiece, and Wardius stole 4. Long and Wardius also had the team high in blocks, each knocking down 4.
The Arcadia Firebirds girls team fell to Goochland last Friday night, 65-27, to end their playoff run.
Tuesday night, the Chincoteague Ponies hosted the Middlesex Chargers in a heated postseason tilt on the island, ultimately falling to their visitors 48-39.
Caroline Thornton potted 26 points for the Ponies, rebounded 9, assisted 2, with 1 block. Caroline Shelley hooped 8, with 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 1 block. Emma Jackson led the rebound count with 12, and had 6 blocks, 5 steals, 2 assists, and contributed 3 points to the scoreboard.
