Mr. Robin “Kent” Mapp, 76, of Tipp City, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019, at his home. He was born Aug. 11, 1942, in Nassawadox, Va., the son of John William Mapp and Hazel Sue Moore Mapp.
Mr. Mapp served our country for 20 years in the U.S. Air Force after which he worked as a sales representative for various security companies, retiring from ADT Security.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don (Missy) Mapp; and grandson, Justin Mapp. Survivors include his wife, Sharon, married Oct. 26, 1990; brother, Barry (Beverly) Mapp, of Harrington Del.; son, Darren Mapp, of Spring Valley, Ohio; son, Jason Mapp, of Miamisburg, Ohio; daughter, Laura Angulo Mapp, of Miamisburg, Ohio; son, Greg (Kim) Lyons, of Lapel, Ind.; and daughter, Sarah (Aaron) Galley, of Beavercreek, Ohio. Mr. Mapp has eight surviving grandchildren, Aaron Jr., Kelsey, and Kylee Galley, Sammiey and Alex Lyons, Adam and Megan Whitaker, and Madison Mapp.
There will be a memorial service for Mr. Mapp, but no date has been set yet.
