Mrs. Rosetta Taylor Mason, 91, wife of the late Carl Eugene Mason and a resident of Heritage Hall Health and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of Fox Grove, passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2018. Born July 13, 1927, in Mears, she was a daughter of the late Waldon Taylor and Addie Martin Taylor.
Mrs. Mason was a graduate of Bloxom High School and a longtime member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was a loving wife and mother who happily devoted her life to caring for her family. Mrs. Mason enjoyed cooking, and nothing brought her more joy than preparing big dinners for loved ones.
Survivors include her two sons, Donald Carl Mason and wife, Andrea, and Michael Douglas Mason and wife, Debbie, all of Fox Grove; sister, Betty Ann Keisel, of Onancock; brother, Larry Taylor, of Mappsville; granddaughter, Jessica Lee Pawin and husband, Chuck, and their daughter, Layla; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home Saturday, Jan.5, 2019, at 1 p.m., with Pastor Wayne Hart officiating.
